Our 500 hours YTT is the most comprehensive teacher training program. If you have done your foundation course, reached intermediate level of practice or have can join our 500 hours course in the serene and tranquil atmosphere of the Ashram in Goa.
The course covers all aspects of yoga and deepens your learning. The experienced teachers and trainers from the yoga world take classes in Ashtanga, Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa. There are classes on physiology and anatomy to make the students understand various body systems such as respiratory, digestive and nervous systems.
Our 500 hours yoga teacher training course is designed to deepen you understanding of the yoga. It is also unique considering the program includes aerial, and per-natal and post-natal yoga for expecting and new mothers.
Upon completion of the course, the students will be Internationally Certified Yoga Teachers recognized by Yoga Alliance, USA and can confidently kickstart their career as a Yoga Teacher anywhere across the world.
The course curriculum encompasses all the fundamental subjects such as pranayama, shat kriya, asana practices, yoga philosophy, yoga anatomy, relaxation (Yoga Nidra), and meditation. Swaastik Yog School focuses on Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga styles for asana practices.
The 500 Hour YTT is designed for 49 nights and 50 days will have 6 days of training and 1 rest day per week. We organize a half-day excursion on the rest day where you are taken around to visit waterfalls, sacred sites and explore the city. The rest day is usually a Sunday but can be interchanged to weekday to avoid traffic and tourists during the peak season in Goa. The 300 Hours Yoga Teacher Training Course fees include accommodations, excursions, and meals.
